World-Champ 2008 news:
bullet2008-03-10: Bad ice in Sandviken, cancelled races. No races today. Searching for better ice in Hudiksvall-area.
bullet2008-03-11: Moved to new location. Maybe lake Dellen (North)
bullet2008-03-12: 4 races sailed on lake Dellen (World-Champ) in rain and mostly 2-4 m/s on 35cm ice. Results here.
bullet2008-03-13: European Championship sailed with four races. Results here.
bullet2008-03-14: European Cup not sailed. No wind on the lake.
bullet2008-03-15: Baltic Cup + German Championship cancelled due to no wind.
 

Iceboating when it is at the very BEST. The Monotype-XV iceyacht is the only 2-seated iceyacht in Europe today that regulary arrange European Championship. Maximal speed is 130-150 km/h and the iceyacht is very very nice to sail and compete with. The class is more or less active in the following countries: Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Nederland, Germany and Poland. Who will build the first XV in USA??
